Our 30th club nationwide and second on Grapevine Lake, now open in Flower Mound.

Nautical Boat Club has opened its 30th location nationwide: Nautical Boat Club – Twin Coves, our 13th Boating Country Club® in Texas and our second on Grapevine Lake. The new club sits inside Twin Coves Park on the lake's north shore in Flower Mound — which means north-shore boaters just lost their last excuse.

Why a second club on one lake

Demand, plainly. Our Metroplex members already boat from Grapevine, Little Elm, and Sapphire Bay, and the north shore has been asking.

"We're thrilled to be launching Nautical Boat Club - Twin Coves. Our Metroplex members love our Grapevine, Little Elm, and Sapphire Bay locations, so we're excited to extend the opportunity to experience Boat Life — the ultimate in boating ease, service, luxury, and fun — to folks closer to the north shore of beautiful Grapevine Lake!"
— Tom Gardiner, Nautical Boat Club Owner since 2012

Twin Coves is owned by Tim Kiser, a veteran operator with seven other Nautical Boat Club locations — the new club opens with two decades of institutional experience behind it, not a learning curve.

What's at Twin Coves

The club sits inside the 243-acre Twin Coves Park, a hub for outdoor recreation, waterfront dining, and boutique shopping, minutes from the new Lakeside Village. The park itself offers:

  • Furnished, temperature-controlled cabins, RV sites, and tent camping
  • Nationally registered hiking and biking trails
  • A fishing pier and kayak launch
  • Picnic areas, playgrounds, a grass volleyball court, disc golf, and cornhole stations
  • The full-service Rockin' S Bar & Grill — a member favorite already, from our Grapevine dock-and-dine guide

Beyond the marina: 8,000 sparkling acres for boating and watersports, fishing for largemouth bass, white bass, and white crappie, sandy beaches, nature trails, and enough wildlife — whitetail deer, dozens of bird species — to make the ride out half the point. How Grapevine compares with the Metroplex's other lakes is in The Three Best Boating Lakes Near Dallas.

What membership includes

A Twin Coves membership works like every Nautical membership: unlimited boating with guaranteed reservations, unrestricted guest privileges with no guest fees, a full stock of complimentary water toys, white-glove concierge service, and full reciprocal benefits at all Nautical Boat Club locations nationwide. Monthly dues cover every ownership expense except gas — insurance, maintenance, and slip fees included. That is the entire stack that costs a boat owner roughly $9,000 to $15,000 a year on a $60,000 boat; the full comparison is in our 2026 membership cost guide.

What north-shore members can expect

Twin Coves is brand new, but the operation behind it is not. Here is what members say about our original Grapevine club, across the same water:

"Great boat choices and the staff is great in making sure everything runs smoothly from the moment you arrive to when you return."
— Russ Adair, Nautical Boat Club – Grapevine (Google Review, 5★)

Same lake, same standard — now with a dock on your side of it.
